We had the pleasure of working with Sam Fleischner during our videoshoot with Kanon Organic Vodka. We were happy to learn that he has a feature film debuting tomorrow in New York.

Fleischner and Ben Chace’s film Wah Do Dem was a winner at last year’s Los Angeles Film Festival and shortlist winner for the London Film Festival.

Here’s a brief synopsis:

Sean Bones plays the lead as Max, a mid-20′s skateboard riding Brooklynite who buys tickets for a cruise to Jamaica for him and his lady.  His girlfriend played by Norah Jones breaks up with him and Max ends up going on the cruise solo.  Max loses his wallet and clothes at the beach while taking a swim during an excursion off of the ship.  He watches the ship sail away in the night without him and Max’s personal journey in Jamaica begins.
