Virgin Mobile Freefest | Fun, Fun, Fun!
This past weekend we made our way down to Columbia, Maryland for Virgin Mobile Freefest. We spent over 12 hours outdoors, hanging out and listening to some amazing bands. I was on my feet for the majority of the day, thank goodness for my Adair hiking boots! They were covered in dirt by the end of the day!

There were lots of things to do on site in addition to live music. From the ferris wheel, to people walking tight ropes and free massages inside these tents below!

Converse had a booth that allowed concert goers to customize a new pair of Chucks.

One of the event sponsors, Kyocera rewarded event-goers who recycled at the event with tickets that could later be redeemed for prizes.

VM Live host Abbey Braden rocked the Montana, Black at the fest. Listen to Miss Braden’s VM Live show everyday streaming online here.

Neon Indian rocked the stage in the Dance Forest. Here’s Alan Palomo signing the guitar that went for auction. All proceeds went to the event’s cause to support and raise awareness of youth homelessness.

We were most excited to see Pavement. Stephen Malkmus is hotter than ever. They played all their hits from Shady Lane, Stereo and more.

But we have to hand it to LCD Soundsystem who rocked the Pavilion Stage and closed out the night. We dare say that LCD Soundsystem is one of the best live bands today. Everyone was on their feet dancing and singing along during their entire set.

Here’s a soundbite from “Dance Yrself Clean.”

We had a lot of fun in Baltimore! Thanks to everyone who put on the event! We can’t wait ’til next year’s show.
