Christina is one sassy lady and that’s why we love her. She’ll tell you how it is whether you like it or not and luckily for us, she loves our Pepper Black boots with brogue detail! Christina shows us that just because the weather is getting warmer, it doesn’t mean you have to put your suede boots away.

You can find the Pepper boot in Black here.

One of the best parts of working on the blog with Lauren is that we’re both open to an impromptu photo shoot no matter where we are. Prime example: this past weekend I ran in the Brooklyn Half-Marathon, an amazing run that begins in Park Slope and ends in Coney Island. Lauren’s bf also signed up to run and Lauren signed up to wake up at the crack of dawn and cheer us on at the finish.
Never one to waste an opportunity, once we had finished the race Lauren and I took in the sites and snapped a few photos along the way. As it was a perfect, warm summer day Lauren paired her yellow tank and patterned cream shorts with the 80%20 Paz sandal to add a dose of tribal print to her look. The bright colors fit right in with our surroundings and the comfortable wedge silhouette made it a piece of cake to explore the boardwalk.
xx, Micol

Actress Lake Bell, best known for her roles in “How to Make It in America,” “Boston Legal” and “Childrens Hospital,” was featured in this Sunday’s Style section of The New York Times in “What I Wore”. The editorial followed Lake’s style picks for the week and our Eliotte Geometric Blonde desert boots made the cut – we’re thrilled!

With Spring so quickly approaching, Kimberly of style blog Eat.Sleep.Wear wanted to make the most of her heavier closet pieces before retiring them to the seasonal bin. She mixed a little winter and spring together in the above ensemble. J’adore! She paired our Eliotte Cocoa suede desert boots with a BB Dakota skirt.

A friend of ours suggested we check out Joey Journal blog and we’re loving the content so far! Lots of style blogs and magazines pop up but we think Joey is one to lookout for. Joey. magazine founded by Aaron Richter (photographer/editor/art director) launches this September – btw did we mention we really love print mags? From vintage Kate Moss videos, to behind the scene casting photos, tidbits on everything from books to music – there’s something for everyone. Richter wanted “to make rad shit with cool people” and we’re happy he did. Read more about Richter and Joey at NYMAG.

Tidbit: Our Brand Manager, Kristina once sat for Richter for a portrait series back in 2009.
Our Molly, Mushroom was in yesterday’s New York Times’ Styles section! Hooray! And the clear sunny weather feels restorative after such a hot July (soooo glad that’s over). Well August, we’re really feeling you so far…
