It’s time for the next round of Meet the Team posts!
Jessica Burgoyne is our primary sales representative managing our West Coast Sales at Place Showroom. A graduate from FIDM, Jessica has been working in sales for almost four years now. A native Californian, she moved to Los Angeles just a year ago and loves the city. What we love most about Jessica is her big heart. We recently learned that she rescued her pet bunny Spike from an alley in downtown LA, of all places!

Dream vacation destination: I would love to vacation in Ibiza or Australia!
Favorite vacation destination: I don’t have a lot of time to get away, but when I do, I like to soak under the Miami sun in South Beach. Waking up with my toes in the sand is every bit of paradise!
What are the three essentials items in your bag at all times? Sunglasses, lip gloss, and a colorful headband
Do you like savory or sweet treats? Sweet treats! Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate!

Staple piece in your summer wardrobe: Bright colors and a great accessory to top off the ensemble
What’s your favorite part about NYC? Seeing old friends and catching up- And, of course- The amazing shopping and rush I get while walking down the streets
What’s your favorite part about LA? The weather and being close to everything!
What is the most fun thing about your job? Working with the designers and buyers in making trends for the upcoming seasons. Seeing them in progress and bringing them into the retail environment is always exciting!!
Meet Alexis Baiada, one of West Sales representatives from Place showroom out in Los Angeles! Alexis is originally from Colorado and now lives in Newport Beach. And yes she commutes from Newport Beach to downtown L.A. everyday! When she attended the University of Arizona she was a Kappa (Place Showroom owner Leah Oseran was a Kappa too!). She loves all accessories, especially jewelry and her latest hair obsession is a good top knot chignon!

Did you get away this summer? Road trip to Denver…moving my boyfriend for graduate school

Favorite spot in LA: The Cannery in Newport Beach (where I live!). Amazing food and strong cocktails!
What is the most fun thing about your job? Working with the BEST girls and designers ever!
We had a great team dinner with our East and West Coast sales teams! Barrio Chino is one of my favorite restaurants in New York, they not only have killer enchilada verdes and margaritas but always have the best playlists.
We don’t get to see our West Coast Sales team often so it’s especially awesome when we get to spend some quality time together. After a few drinks, we all learned something new about one another…
Pooja was almost a professional tennis player.
Kristina was nominated for a Paper Magazine Nightlife award in 2007.

Katharine has a Black belt in karate.
Melissa, the newest member of the A Supreme Agent team was our intern in 2010, and lives with four animals…I mean four guys!

Meet Casey, our Office Manager for our West Coast sales showroom, Place! Casey’s a Tucson native and graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in business administration. She moved to L.A. just a year ago and absolutely loves it! The best part of her job is that her colleagues are some of her best friends (awww!). In all honesty, it’s always nice to hear people are psyched on not only their job but are happy in their work environment. We’re super happy to have Casey on our team and looking forward to hanging out with her the next time she’s in New York!
FUN FACT: She’s currently taking lessons to learn how to play the guitar.

It’s the time of year again and we’re packing our bags (filled with shoes, of course!) for FN Platform in Las Vegas. This year’s show takes place from Monday, August 22 – Wednesday, August 24 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Meet Erica Holland! She is our Showroom Manager for Place Showroom (our new West Coast sales team). She is a homegrown California girl who settled in Los Angeles just four years ago. Recently, Erica has been a busy lady between work and planning her wedding! We are so excited for her.
