Montreal-based Little Scream aka musician Laurel Spreingelmeyer’s debut album, The Golden Record was released in April.   The cover art is pretty cool, it features one of Little Scream’s original oil paintings – think gold pantones!

She has a new video directed by Rachel Granofsky for the track, “Red Hunting Jacket.” 

“The song is an excavation of forgotten memories from a relationship built on the run– “What can we communicate that won’t just turn to dust?” Sprengelmeyer sings, her band twisting deliriously beneath.” (via Pitchfork)

The handclapping and flute additions to the track are awesome.
