If you haven’t heard of Kickstarter yet, you should!  Kickstarter is an organization that helps fund creative ideas and ambitious endeavors, powered by an all-or-nothing funding method.  Several friends of ours have had their projects funded via Kickstarter, from raising funds to film a music video to starting a homemade fig newton delivery service.  Make your dreams a reality!

On Friday, July 9th Kickstarter will collaborate with Rooftop Films to host the first ever Kickstarter Film Festival on the rooftop of the Old American Can Factory in Brooklyn. The festival will feature over 90 minutes of footage from various Kickstarter projects and the night will also include live music and snacks provided by Kickstarter food projects.

The project has been fully-funded!  166 backers and $3,080 raised (goal was $2,000)…how awesome!  If you missed out on ticket pre-sales, have no fear – just get tickets the day of the event at the venue for $10.
