The Hester Street Fair has been a great addition to the downtown community and it strives to keep their offerings fresh and new, as well as give back to the neighborhood.  Last month, there was a huge fire that affected three residential buildings on Grand Street in Chinatown displacing tenants and impacted surrounding businesses.  The Hester Street Fair in collaboration with Seward Park Co-op has put together Spring Clean.  On Sunday, May 16th from 10AM-6PM, stop by the fair and participate in the Hester Street Fair Spring Clean Drop-off.  They will be accepting new and gently used items to be sold.  So get to the Spring cleaning you’ve been postponing for a good cause!

From May 17th-May 21st, participating downtown restaurants will also be donating partial profits from the week to the cause.

The actual sale event will take place on Sunday, May 23 from 10am-6pm- Hester Street Fair Spring Clean Sale Event (Hester Street at Essex Street).  The event is sponsored by Lovely Day, An Choi and WylieLAW.
