Running With Heels chatted with Ce Ce to get the inside scoop behind the inspiration for 80%20′s Spring 2011 Collection.

I love the “surfer-in-the city” look that was on the runway for Spring 2011.  Proenza Schouler did some masterful pieces in Mexican Baja stripes- high waisted shorts, blouse-y pants and lady like jackets.  However my favorite is their chic interpretation of the classic pullover made famous by Sean Penn as Jeff Spicolli in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. 80%20 uses Baja stripe in the Spring 11 shoe collection.  Here’s one of our newest silhouettes, The Feather.  It’s available in three stripe colorways- Primary (as shown), Pastel and Maize.
