This week we’re featuring the lovely Carrie Glenn Campbell of A Supreme Agent (our East and Midwest sales showroom). ASA is an item-based showroom focused on specific product lines that speak to Fashion, Form, and Function—three principles of design and was founded by Carrie in 2007. We’re proud to stand next to the other lines carried by A Supreme Agent, such as Bensimon and Bloch. If you haven’t heard of A Supreme Agent, you’ll be hearing a lot more from this showroom!
Carrie is one of the most motivated people we know. She’s always ready for a challenge – the bigger the better, and she puts the pedal to the metal at all times. Meet Carrie!

“I Follow Rivers” is the second single from Lykke Li’s highly anticipated second album Wounded Rhymes. Remember when “Little Bit” came out and you had it playing on repeat? We did at least and it still makes our hearts go a flutter.
Her upcoming album definitely has richer sounds and a moodier tone. Also take a listen to her first single “Get Some” off the new album here.
Either way Lykke Li you still have our hearts.
Peep the video for “I Follow Rivers” directed by Tarik Saleh.
It’s time to meet our Brand Strategist and Consultant Jasmine Takanikos. Jasmine works closely with Ce Ce on 80%20′s overall branding and marketing initiatives. When we want to know about the latest trends or gadgets, she’s our girl. Jasmine’s experience is expansive and impressive; her portfolio of work ranges from footwear to real estate brands. We recently chatted with Jas to get the scoop on what’s new and asked her some of our Meet the Team questions. One of the questions we asked was “What trend do you want to come back?” Her reply was, “love” – one of our favorite responses and just another reason why we adore Jasmine.

Illustrator Hye Su Lee first caught our eye with the color illustration of a map of Manhattan on Design Work Life. We were so intrigued that we had to learn more! Hye Su splits her time between New York, Seoul and London – sounds awesome, right? Drawing is her passion and she draws inspiration from her surroundings to reproduce works that are part interpretative observation fused with her imaginative thoughts.
This past June, we attended the The Creators Project, an Intel and VICE-headed event series that launched in New York at Milk Studios. It was the first of four events and it was truly groundbreaking event -highlighting the best of today’s musical acts, art, and installations, with a wide range of interesting panel discussions. See our coverage from the event here.
We were pretty thrilled to hear that The Creators Project is teaming up with the Coachella Music and Arts Festival this year! Coachella always has the most amazing lineups and they’ve just released this year’s roster. Some of the bands we’re excited about are Arcade Fire (first saw them in 2004 and it was awesome), Suede (so major!), Cut Copy, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, and it looks like Death From Above 1979 are reuniting for the show too.
Wth the Creators Project collaborating with the festival this year, we can only imagine how much fun and inspiring the three day event will be. It will definitely add a new visual aspect to the festival as they will teaming up with headlining acts to create new works of art, curate art installations on the festival grounds, and also bringing some of their favorite International musical acts to perform too.
The Creators Project will be making a HUGE announcement on February 16th with more details. Stay tuned here.
We’ve already marked our calendars for April 15th-17th!
Our love affair with Little Dragon continues! We checked out lead singer Yukimi Nagano at the Gorillaz show this summer (she’s a guest vocalist on the Gorillaz’s latest album), which was awesome but it just left us wanting more…
Little Dragon just kicked off a U.S tour and are playing three shows in NYC! Their new album Ritual Union is slated for an April or May release. If you haven’t checked out their last album Machine Dreams, you’re really missing out. It was released back in 2009 and the band has a new video for the track “My Step” directed by Matthew Scheuererwas.
