Our visit to the Capsule show yesterday left us excited for trade show season! Brand Pimps and Media Whores (BPMW) did a great job with the brand selection and visual merchandising. Also, BPMW’s shows always have the cutest guys in attendance! Some of the footwear brands we loved at Capsule were Zuriick, Yuketen, Quoddy.

DailyCandy Spotlights the Ce Ce Chin Collection!
Since 2003, 80%20 and DailyCandy have made a “sweet” match and we truly appreciate all their coverage and their love. Once again they are giving us a nod in their new video segment on NBC, “Locals Dress You Up”. Our very own Ce Ce Chin is spotlighted for the new launch of the The Ce Ce Chin Collection. These shoes will be available at Tani in February (and select styles available at Anthropologie now). Daily Candy describes the shoes as “Coco Chanel meets Pretty in Pink Era Molly Ringwald for cocktails”.
Daily Candy is a global stead fast gem in the world of fashion editorial. On their website one sentence truly explains it all, “DailyCandy is dedicated to helping you live the sweet life”. They have over 3 million subscribers to their daily newsletter and 13 specific city editions.

The Ting Tings, the dynamic Indie pop duo from the UK, have taken over the world of fashion parties with their infectious sounds.
On the most recent Saturday Night Live, lead singer Katie White was wearing our black Ruby boot while performing the hit, “That’s Not My Name”. She looked amazing! We love her dancing and high energy fun- she’s a total 80%20 girl in every way.
Bread & Butter Berlin: Trade Show Season is here…
When you think of Berlin, what comes to your mind? Is it cutting edge design and fashion, or maybe hot night clubs and captivating flims?
Well Berlin is at the top of its game and 80%20 is getting into the mix. We’ll be at the Bread and Butter Trade Show in Berlin at the Airport Berlin-Tempelhof from January 20 – 22nd. 80%20 will be amongst over 120 different forward lifestyle brands this year.
Berlin, in our opinion, is the best place to host such an innovative and exciting show like Bread & Butter. The city is the center of modern and industrial design, and even won the UNESCO “City of Design” award this year. Everything changes and evolves so quickly in Berlin and it is an amazing place to get inspired by innovation and creativity.
After Bread & Butter, check out Berlin’s Fashion Week Jan. 20-23 where there will be many gems and tons of eye candy!

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
